At the request of Southeast Regional Resources and on the behalf of the Wrangell School District, Welsh Whiteley Architects performed an inspection of the existing playground at Evergreen Elementary School and prepared a condition survey and accompanying cost estimates for recommended improvements. This information, along with design development drawings were used in a grant request to the Alaska Legislature and community bond which both were successful.

 

Welsh Whiteley Architects assisted R&M Engineering - Ketchikan, Inc. with design of the playground which was completed in 2011.
