Welsh Whiteley Architects is recruiting for a license-track intern architect with professional degree and 2 to 5 years of experience. 

We are a four-person architectural partnership located in Ketchikan, Alaska, providing services for a variety of community organizations, commercial clients and local government. For information on our firm applicants may review our project portfolio at www.welshwhiteley.com.

This position involves working directly with each of the two principals, and collaborating with other team members for the delivery of successful projects. Presentation to clients, the public, or to other groups is sometimes required. We offer opportunities for increased responsibility as an individual’s experience and skills grow. 

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills, reliable work habits, and be willing to participate in a collaborative team process.   

Proficiency with AutoCAD is required. Experience with Revit, Photoshop, InDesign and other graphic software is desired.
